Equanimity (“Emotional Balance”)
We are currently in the Fifth Post-Atlantean Epoch, the age of consciousness. With approximately 700 years remaining in this epoch, humanity is delving deeper into the development of the I, or “EGO.” This journey takes us further into materialism, aiming to ultimately transcend it into the spiritual. Achieving this transformation requires inner balance and the flow of spiritual light within us. Now is the time to transmute what no longer serves us and fully step into spiritual consciousness. Holding onto trauma from this life or past lifetimes, however, prevents us from ascending to our higher self.
Why is it so important to develop equanimity?
The first exercise in the Six Exercises program is designed to help you develop the spiritual faculties needed to transcend into the New Earth. In the coming age of Philadelphia, as described in Anthroposophy, the larynx will become an organ of creation, connected to the throat chakra. Every feeling will manifest through this organ as sound, especially vowel sounds, which is why understanding Eurythmy is a valuable tool for emotional balance.
Creative Word: In the 6th Root Race, we will not only perceive the world through the larynx but also create through it. Our speech will hold the power to manifest physical forms.
The Transformation: The energy now used for physical reproduction will be redirected to the larynx, transforming it into an organ of “spiritual birth.”
Trauma often numbs our senses and closes our chakras as a protective mechanism. By cultivating equanimity (emotional balance) as your first step, you begin to “thaw” these frozen areas.
Once you reach the non-judgment phase, you are essentially practicing for the 6th Root Race, training your heart to perceive others without the interference of the ego’s projections.
The Future Human Body and Planetary Change
In the future, as the human body mirrors the planetary shift to New Jupiter Earth:
Transparency: The body will lose its dense, opaque quality, becoming luminous and fluid, like glass. Spiritual currents will be visible, flowing through it.
Condensation of Light: Instead of being made of carbon and water, the body will consist of condensed light forces—known as the “Resurrection Body” or Spirit-Self (Manas) in physical form.
Radiance: Organs will become centers of radiant light. The heart, for example, will transform into a new sense organ, glowing with the warmth of the soul.
The Role of the Word (The Larynx)
The larynx (voice box) is currently the “seed” of this crystalline body.
In the crystalline future, we will “speak” our bodies into existence.
The body will manifest the Logos (the Word), with its crystalline structure reflecting the geometric precision of spiritual sound made visible.
Separation from the “Slag”
Not all matter becomes crystalline. The coarse, dark, and unredeemed parts—the aspects tied to unrefined desires and the Eighth Sphere—will be cast off like slag during a process of spiritual purification.
The crystalline body is what remains after the fire of spiritual development has purified the soul.
This crystalline state is the ultimate goal of the Six Exercises. By practicing Equanimity and Thinking Consciously, you are beginning to order your soul substance into the geometric, crystalline patterns required for this future state. In doing so, you are literally pre-forming your future luminous body.
This Thursday, during our first session and exercise, we will explore the deeper importance of equanimity. Together, we will practice mindful meditation and Eurythmy—powerful tools to help you cultivate inner balance. These practices will also support the development of your spiritual faculties.
See you then!
